As you know, Date My City is bringing “Cultural and Civic Engagement in Vogue” to Asheville. It is a force for fostering social cohesion, increasing civic participation and igniting pride through unity and self-determination for African Americans in Asheville. To meet these ambitious goals, we are putting out a call for team members. While these currently are volunteer positions, the sky’s the limit for the future growth of Date My City.
We are looking for qualified people to fill these roles:
Content Creator – write content for the Date My City website, create social media posts, and edit submissions from guest contributors.
Outreach Coordinator – manage and implement grassroots marketing efforts
Event Coordinator – plan and facilitate monthly events
Ambassador – attend community events as a Date My City representative
